Static-descriptive Essay: I Have Felt the Friendship

There are school festival in any university and country. There are also festival in Japan and the Philippines. Nowadays, we can not come to school easily. Because of the security. But in the school festivals, it happens that people who usually do not come to school can heve fun. This essay exposes the school festival exprience with my friends in the Philippines.

The other day, there was an Animo fair in De La Salle university. Culture 2010 was also one of the events in an Animo fair. The International center takes good care of all exchange students and regular students in De La Salle University who come from other sountries. They offered us to perform in this event. There are three Japanese exchange students this term. They offered us to perform traditional Japanese art. We decided to perform a Japanese dance. We prepared for it for two days; we made a hat with paper flowrs needed for the dance, and we went to the Japanese embassy to rent Japanese clothes. During that time, we enjoyed going out to buy the need ed materials and creating the performance and the hats. On that day, we wore Yukata which is a Japanese traditional clothing worn in the summer, most especially during the summer festival(Natsu Matsuri) which was also international event. Indians, Koreans, Chinese, Indonesians, Taiwanese, Africans, Combodians, Iranians and Japanese performed in this event. They also performed their own traditional dances wearing their traditional clothes. It was the first time that I took part in a festival in the Philippines. I enjoyed those events very much, because we could see traditional arts. It is seldom to see such a thing. I was excited when I saw them. And I was excited when we were performing , because we prasticed until midnight for it. So we were mervous that people would make fun of our performance, and we were afraid of maiking mistakes. But we made up our mpind that we also had fun about our performance. My frineds cheered for us, and we waited for our turn. They are not La Salle students, but they came to De La Salle University for us. When we were strating our dance, they came and sat at the front of the theater to watch closely. During our performance, they cheered for us and took pictures of our dance. During that time, I have felt their friendship between us, and I am very lucky to be their friend.

Ithought we do not care about our nationalities that time because we can be friwnds without nationality. I feel grateful for my friends to be my friend.
